As with 2008 the Roode 1000 and the Heritage 3/4 mile are both on the same date, 18 January 2009. Last time many of us had to choose the Heritage swim as it was a Midmar Mile qualifier. Seems it is going to be the same this time around even though there are no open water swims a week later on the 25th! Maybe there won't be a clash in 2010 and we can swim in both events?!!
