There is however the date issue.. “The Roode 1000 Committee is very concerned about the effect of another swim on the same day (in this case the Heritage Swim on the West Rand). We however feel that the Roode has been on the calender for the past 11 years and that our swim should have preference when decisions are made about the open water swimming calender. Although the two swims are not in the same city, both are harmed by this clash of dates. To ... Any Feedback ??
